What we collect
When you contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, contact details and information about what you need help with. If you go on to receive advice, we will collect further information needed to assess a mortgage application, which may include income, outgoings, employment details, credit history and identification documents.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to give mortgage advice, to submit applications to lenders on your behalf where you ask us to, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Who we share it with
Where you ask us to arrange a mortgage or related product, we share the information needed with the relevant lender or provider. We may also share information with third parties who support our business, such as IT and compliance providers, and with regulators or other authorities where we are required to.
We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep records for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet the record-keeping requirements that apply to regulated mortgage advice.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to ask us to correct it, and in some circumstances to ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above.
